gucken\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>In Port Hedland ( das&#8220;t&#8220; ist stumm und ich hab deswegen eine Wette gegen Bernie verloren) lassen wir uns am Cooke Point auf einem Big 4 Campingplatz nieder, der alles bietet was wir nach 4 Tagen im Outback brauchen. Insbesondere der Pool hat es Luisa angetan&#8230;sie badet total gerne und ist im Wasser wie wild am strampeln und quieken. Hier bleiben wir erst mal zwei Tage um die W\u00e4sche zu waschen, einzukaufen \u00a0und den roten Staub runterzuwaschen. Wie wir beim Checkin etwas irritiert feststellten, sind die besten Stellpl\u00e4tze nicht etwa welche direkt am Strand, sondern die mit Blick auf die Lichter der Industrianlagen. \u00a0Tja, wenn es sonst nichts zu gucken gibt&#8230;f\u00fcr uns war das Campen im Industriegebiet eher nicht das Highlight.<\/p>\n<p>Nach zwei entspannten Tagen brechen wir in Richtung Eighty Mile Beach auf. Nach einigem hin und her haben wir uns entschieden, nicht nach Broome hochzufahren, sondern hier umzudrehen, so dass wir am n\u00f6rdlichsten \u00a0und wahrscheinlich auch hei\u00dfesten Ort unserer Reise angelangt sind. Als wir mittags auf dem Eighty Mile Beach Caravan \u00a0Park einchecken, ist es nur im Schatten einigerma\u00dfen auszuhalten \u00a0und unser Sunshelter muss das erste mal seinen urspr\u00fcnglichen Zweck erf\u00fcllen, n\u00e4mlich Schatten spenden.<\/p>\n<p>Am Nachmittag, als es etwas k\u00fchler ist, begeben wir uns an den Strand um Muscheln zu sammeln. Der Strand ist wirklich wundersch\u00f6n, endlos lang und bei Ebbe ziemlich breit. Mit einem leckeren Rotwein in der Hand haben wir uns dann auch den beieindruckenden Sonnenuntergang angesehen.
